ProgramS Overview
Our Mission
SafeSpace Alameda County strives to be a dynamic, young adult-led organization dedicated to transforming the dialogue surrounding mental health incorporating the five pillars of wellness. Our mission is to empower young adults to initiate open conversations about mental health, advocate for support services, and foster a culture of understanding and acceptance. At SafeSpace, we believe in the power of consumer voices to effect positive change. By equipping young adults in their transformative years with knowledge, skills, and a supportive network, we aim to create a more inclusive, diverse, and compassionate environment where mental health is prioritized and everyone feels valued and supported.
What We Do
Through innovative initiatives and peer-driven programs, we strive to break down stigma and encourage individuals to speak openly about their experiences. Our approach is rooted in education, support, and empowerment, as we believe that every young adult has the right to access resources and receive assistance when facing mental health challenges.
